This book does a great job of integrating the author’s love of our National Parks, with their enthusiasm for astronomy. Dr. Nordgren does a great job of linking land features / events in the parks with astronomical features / phenomena. It has been easily used star maps and stunning photos of the skies above our national parks. I liked the way the author related his personal experiences in the parks with a different astronomy lesson. Each chapter ends with some projects of astronomy “do it yourself” that allow the reader his own personal experience with the subject. Dr. Nordgren includes many useful and fun websites astronomy that also help to follow the lessons to gently enseñanza.Ya I ordered a second copy to give to my father. Rating: 5 / 5
