This is a great map that gives an excellent overview of all the trails in the Smoky Mountains. Put it in your backpack and go. Rating: 5 / 5
Natl Geo These maps are amazing! They can be a bit expensive they are and are not as waterproof as they claim to be, but the overall aesthetic qualities of these maps fully better than anything else on the market. . . including road maps contained in the Guide Series ADK-no offense to anyone. The reason I say this is because these maps are consistent with the aforementioned “Road Guide” series, so the track number (along with information from a lot more, all in color) are found in these maps also . I rolled mine with foil and keep them rolled up in a super wicker basket. . . only to avoid the wear along the folds and stuff. Rating: 4 / 5
They are very resistant to weathering. Mine has been through a lot and still in very good condition. I always take my frequent hikes in GSMNP. It is very detailed and distances seem to be right on track. I recommend it to anyone planning to hike the Smokies. Rating: 5 / 5
The map is made of waterproof material that looks like it will last long. The map is easy to read and has lots of color-coded for easy to follow. I am very happy with the purchase. Rating: 5 / 5
