I just returned from a week in Sequoia / Kings FalconGuides Canyon.Soy a fan. FalconGuides The problem is that trying to be everything to everybody. These include hiking a lot more, but several of them are “transport increases, which require travel to non-walkers and the use of several cars. If you’re a fan of higher shipments, stay with Falcon. On the other hand, I doubt they ever will see the publication of a guide dedicated to road trips on the shuttle. “Great Hiking Rocky Mountain Bus? Do not look for it on Amazon! Anyway, the author of Stone sticks to trips that can be done by hikers day. N 45-mile, day 9-outs of several days. Again, if that’s what you’re waiting, Falcon is your guide. But if you are looking for a nice walk in the desert, the stone has to cover. And there are a number of hikes of 6 miles or more. I hiked to the Falls Mist (9 miles round trip). That said, this volume is in serious need of an update. General Sherman Tree area has been completely redesigned and now have to walk a significant. The Way of Congress is also far easier to access than it once was. And Kings Canyon entrance station has moved away from a tree “dangerous” in the big parking Stump. So for now, there is no parking for large stumps, the meadows of Hitchcock, Viola Falls trails. Stone could also consider a description of the road to Crystal Cuevas.Este is the book I took on the road. (The FalconGuide was used, but stayed in the hostel.) Rating: 4 / 5

Many people who regularly hike in Yosemite inexplicably ignored his younger sister known as the South Park: majestic Sequoia. I have hiked in both parks for 15 years and Sequoia National Park is an excellent, especially for hikers looking for a serious challenge. Yosemite Half Dome remains one of the most beautiful and “must do” tours in California, but Alta Peak in Sequoia is comparable and its beauty is pure majesty. You can get a higher elevation in Sequoia and alpine terrain, especially in early summer, will remind you of Switzerland. This guide is exceptionally useful and small enough to carry with you in your package as rise. The maps are detailed, as well as directions to each trailhead. The descriptions of each excursion are concise but sufficiently detailed to allow the sense of each excursion before I try. There is little extraneous information, which is a common complaint of other hiking books. If you have never visited or hiking in Sequoia, you’re in for the unexpected treat of his life. The park is incomparably beautiful and hiking is one of the best in the western states. This guide will help you discover the wonders of this National Park underestimated. A warning: this book deals only with short walks suitable for people with a family. Do not expect anything more than 5.6 miles. Rating: 4 / 5
